Single Session Therapy

“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, `I will try again tomorrow." - Mary Anne Radmacher

Single session therapy (SST) is a therapeutic approach that aims to help clients achieve significant changes or solutions to their problems within a single therapy session.

Prior to the session I will send you a form to help you identify your specific problem or issue. In the SST session, we work together to clarify your goals for the session, and develop a plan for achieving those goals. As an integrative therapist I have access to a range of techniques and interventions to help you achieve your desired outcomes, such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness exercises.

SST has several benefits, including its efficiency, affordability, and accessibility. It can be particularly useful for clients who are seeking immediate support or who may be reluctant to engage in traditional long-term therapy. However, it is important to note that SST is not appropriate for all clients or all types of problems. It is typically best suited for clients with relatively straightforward issues or who are seeking specific, targeted interventions.

Overall, single session therapy can be a valuable tool for helping you access support when and as you need it.

Further support is available after the SST session if you need it.
